    A new android rootkit emerges!

The rootkit was developed by a team led by NC State computer science professor Xuxian Jiang, who also founded the Android Malware Genome Project.

The rootkit can be installed easily and does not require a reboot. It is claimed that the rootkit is also undetectable by current security software and can be delivered through an infected app and take control without any user input.

In this video you can see a malicious browser being launched by the app, and a brief demo from the experts.

What do you think about this? Do you think that you will be using this to exploit phones in the wild or do you think it is not a viable attack for mass pwnage?

Let me know in the comments below! I answer each and every one personally.
