Duke University Law Professor James Boyle claims in his expert testimony that the majority of downloads comprised of open source software, contrary to the popular belief and claim that the site was a hotbed for piracy and illegal filesharing.
It is unclear how this will impact the case for Hotfile, but I am certain that it won’t hurt them.
