Hello everyone! I am sure you have noticed I have not been posting as much the last few days, and that is because I have been getting prepared for my speech at the Memphis BSides Security Conference. Initially the plan was to record my speech in video, but in my haste to setup, I forgot to set up my camera.
Although Jack Daniel was also recording the talk and streaming it live to his Ustream, the WiFi mysteriously was non-compliant during my talk, and thus, there are only a few minutes of choppy footage.
For those of you that were looking forward to this, I am sorry, and hopefully these slides here will do. Click this link to check out the presentation from my Google Docs. Maybe if there is enough interest in it, I will deliver the speech one more time over YouTube so that you guys can get the conference-y feeling.
* I meant to say 1000mW, not 1000W for the WiFi adapter
A few days ago, I decided it was time to get a commercial Yagi Uda array instead of building my own, so I went through the people who sold me my Alfa AWUS036H. When I bought my Alfa from Rokland LLC (authorized alfa dealer) a few years ago, and it arrived to my doorstep pretty quickly, with everything described, and overall was a pleasure to deal with. They have pretty good prices, but I’d say the thing that really shines with Rokland LLC is the customer service. Thanks Jason, I’ll be sticking with you guys in the future.
